We are a dynamic team of creative minds, strategic thinkers, and event problem-solvers dedicated to transforming your vision into reality. Our team are drawn from all sectors of the events and theatre world, with a passion to ensure we combine your ideas with our experience to create something very special. We take care of our clients, making sure you enjoy working with our inclusive and responsive team.   

How it all started

Imagine was founded by David Cowlard in 2001. 
David saw a gap in the market for a forward-thinking, creative events management company to support the growing city of Milton Keynes. David's vision turned into a reality very quickly, within a year the team had organised over 50 events.

Across the next twenty years imagine has developed and grown into a thriving events management and live event production business, creating stand-out events nationwide.

Meet the events team

David Cowlard

Managing Director

David founded Imagine in 2001 and remains the driving force behind the business today. Having worked in the events, creative and hospitality industry for over 20 years, David’s attention to detail and unflappable personality make him the perfect leader of our team here at imagine.

Bethia Wray

Event Coordinator

Bethia is an experienced event planner and works closely with our clients to plan and manage their live events with a finite attention to detail. With a background in drama and theatre, Bethia loves the creative aspect of an event, and our customers love working with her. 

Sophie Batt

Event Coordinator

Sophie just loves organising events and prior to joining Imagine planned a series of events for charities. Sophie is one of the first points of contact you will make when enquiring with us and will help you find a solution for planning and managing your next event.

Beccy Woolsey

Event Designer

Beccy brings your creative vision to life with a million ideas and an attention to detail like no other, crafting amazing event designs and never missing a trick! With a background in hospitality and events for over 25 years, Beccy is an experienced and integral member of the event production team.

Simon Taylor

Technical Manager

Simon is our Technical Manager and has worked at imagine for over 20 years! There really is nothing Simon can’t handle during a live production, he has seen it all and done it all, rest assured you will be in very safe hands. He's an expert in his field and our clients just love working with him! 

Sophie O'Brien

Production Supervisor

Sophie brings her creativity and organisation skills to the team, with a strong background in performing arts and events. Sophie is very experienced in the world of live entertainment, her expertise spans both on the stage and behind the scenes. Her diverse background makes her a valuable asset to our team.

John Roscoe

Rig Supervisor

John is our chief rig supervisor and plays a leading role in ensuring the safe, efficient assembly of the set, stage and AV equipment. Behind the scenes he's also pretty handy in our workshop building new staging, sets and props for our future productions! His can do attitude is infectious and nothing is too much trouble.

Dene Plumbridge

AV Supervisor

Dene is all over the logistics! Moving our AV seamlessly from one event to the next. He plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient assembly of our productions, as well as working on the live delivery behind the AV desk. He is a dedicated team player and always willing to help.

Dean Taylor

AV Supervisor

Dean is the behind the scenes hero of our AV operation. From equipment planning and delivery to ensuring everything arrives on time and set up according to specifications. Clients consistently praise Dean's ability to anticipate needs, respond effectively and ensure every technical aspect runs smoothly.
